The PUD Zoning Laws

We have been told that the residents and TM reps knew what they were voting for.... I decided to investigate and hear for myself. I was beyond shocked.

Here’s the actual meeting. I encourage you to listen and hear the “Business Development” proposal we were promised (not housing). Our current situation is not what we were promised. We are so VULNERABLE!

1:46:47 Fincom recommends
1:48:50 Fincom minority report **excellent**
1:54:38 Planning Board recommends
1:55:51 Town Manager recommends
1:59:47 Economic Development presentation “Businesses Development”
2:06:24 Selectmen (2) speak in favor
2:09:34 TM begin discussion 4 people speak
2:16:16 attempt to move the question fails
2:17:46 Ralph McKenna **nailed it**
2:19:55 Mike Rosa **nailed it**

2:23:10 Selectwoman speaks in favor, 2 more residents speak and then move the question and vote

2:29:36 Article 42 which is 14 pages of PUD Language passes 106 to 51.
(Out of 244 representatives) 8 TM reps got to speak.

2:34:59 Article 43 Zoning for PUD R in Nashua road. Presentation by Economic Developer Rob Anderson.
2 TM reps got to speak, question moved, article voted and passed

2:44:57 Article 44 Zoning overlay of parcels. PUD G (upper Boston Rd) Presentation by Rob Anderson and John Curran.
Immediately question is moved NO ONE got to speak on it.
111 to 30 - only 141 people voted. It passed.

2:52:00 Article 45 Zoning overlay of parcel PUD G (center town and mall) Presented by Rob Anderson and John Curran.
Immediately question is moved NO ONE got to speak on it.
109 to 27 - only 136 people voted.

Please vote yes to the moratorium article and REMOVAL OF THE ZONING PARCELS on Saturday! Let’s FIX this!! Our town is now extremely VULNERABLE!
